Sir QuacksalotBeak High, Heart Brave
Sir Quacksalot's Christmas song. Words and music by Paul C. Stone. Sing along!
Lyrics
Intro
(Jingle, jingle, quack, quack!)
Verse 1
On the little round pond behind the house
Sailed a rubber duck knight, as brave as could be
He kept watch on the snails from the reeds to the stone
And Oliver always came back home
Chorus
Beak high, heart brave, onward!
Through the snow and the Christmas glow
Beak high, heart brave, onward!
Sir Quacksalot, away we go!
Verse 2
Then the cold tiptoed in on Christmas Eve
And the pond turned to glass, not a ripple, not a wave
So he rode on a scruffy dog, off through the snow
To find a new kingdom, wherever it goes
Chorus
Beak high, heart brave, onward!
Through the snow and the Christmas glow
Beak high, heart brave, onward!
Sir Quacksalot, away we go!
Bridge
A frozen birdbath, a sleepy fountain
Warm water shining, but no one knew his name
Then a crayon crown on a lamp post saying
"A very brave duck," and he knew the way
Final Chorus
Beak high, heart brave, home!
Through the snow and the Christmas glow
Beak high, heart brave, home!
The best spot's saved for you, you know
Outro
Home is the ones who love you
Beak high, heart brave, home
(Quack! Quack!)
